Liberals hate God. They hate Christianity. They hate America. They have no morals. They are deceitful and dishonest… and deranged. They are deviant. They want to control your life, your health, and your bank account. They want to stop you from worshipping. They are Socialists. Communists. They are greedy. They want to take your money from you. They want you to believe they are compassionate. But they’re not. They are selfish, corrupt, and sinister. They are psychologically damaged. Miseducated… by charlatans. Liberals are dangerous. They want to destroy America. They hate you. They hate God.
This is just some of what radio host Rush Limbaugh tells his listening audience three hours a day, five days a week, just a little shy of fifty-two weeks each year. He has been doing this for almost thirty years now. Thirty freaking years. And sadly, not many people are all that concerned about this. In fact, not many people even think about it. They don’t seem to be even slightly bothered by the knowledge of these sickening words and fallacious accusations shooting out over the airwaves to millions and millions of people- many of them easily prone to hate and bigotry. And those who are aware of it, and opposed to it, not very many- or, at least, not enough- seem close to understanding the level of depravity (and danger) that Limbaugh effectively spews out to his ten million or so weekly listeners. Yes, that’s right. Around ten million. And there is a real serious problem with this. A real, real, real serious problem. For, you see, it’s not just his listeners that become (have become) brainwashed and filled with hate towards their fellow Americans and the outside world; it’s the friends, neighbors, families, community and co-workers who hardly pay attention to what’s going on in the world, that Limbaugh’s listeners bombard with an avalanche of lies and misinformation. Lies and misinformation targeted towards the most ignorant members of our society and culture. In fact, it would be better if the millions who don’t pay attention got it directly from Limbaugh. Then, there might be a chance they would detect the phoniness behind his voice, his obvious trying-too-hard-to-convince conman act that most of his listeners somehow fail to notice, or choose intentionally not to notice. Instead, they’re hearing it from people they trust- family members they want to believe, co-workers they want to get along with, friends they want to keep. In fact, more people get it secondhand from their close environment and surroundings than those who receive it directly from Limbaugh. And that’s why Donald Trump is President!
Actually, Trump is President for several reasons. Take away any one of the key reasons- and they will get listed in the future as this site progresses- and Trump isn’t President.
*A BRIEF TIMEOUT HERE: One of the intentions of Unspreading Hate is to keep articles short. Like editorial cartoons, try and say a whole lot with as few words as possible. And because most of you don’t listen to Limbaugh, nor have all of you traveled through rural America and witnessed how little attention the populace pays to what you think is important and meaningful, hold off on any doubts you might have as to how dangerous Limbaugh is. Limbaugh has single-handedly crushed 97% of scientists whose job it is to understand and get this country to act out of extreme urgency on Climate Change. Regarding war: There would have been no Iraq War without Limbaugh’s blessing. And at the first sign of trouble with North Korea during Trump’s presidency, Limbaugh spoke against diplomacy. Hundreds of thousands of South Koreans would have died within minutes if war had taken place. There’s a lot to say about this, but not here, not now. It will come out in the future. It’s not a simple task keeping Limbaugh’s crimes short, but that’s the intention here. The intention is also not to make this site solely about the champion spreaders of hate (from Fox News to Trump to the rest of the hate spreaders), but it’s imperative to identify them and inform the non-listeners what’s being said- in order to un-spread hate.
I will tell you this, liberals not listening to Limbaugh or not watching Fox News- just checking in once in a while- would be like if all Jewish people had access to radios and televisions in 1930s Germany, but hardly any of them tuned in to listen to Joseph Goebbel’s “lovefest” each and every day. In fact, why don’t you try this? Just for kicks. Turn on your radio and switch the station to Limbaugh. Close your eyes and relax. (Good luck with that.) Now imagine, every time you hear the word “liberal,” switch it to “Jew.” Pretty soon you will think that you are in 1930s Germany. Seriously, try it. Limbaugh’s goal is simply to get as many people as possible to hate Liberals (and Democrats). And not to hate them slightly, but to hate them with every ounce of energy they got.
Most of you have known about Limbaugh for years. However, you’ve dismissed him for either practical or emotional reasons. For those who haven’t listened to him in a while, here’s what you need to know: Limbaugh has upped his game, significantly. It used to be that you could turn him on- your radio, that is- and, although most of the time he would say something completely outlandish within seconds or minutes, there were times when you might have to listen for five, ten or fifteen minutes until you came close to wrecking your car. Now, almost every time you switch your station to Limbaugh, it is usually immediate that you will hear something completely untrue and hateful that millions are simply going to accept and spread like wildfire. But although he has upped his game and gotten a whole lot worse than you remember him being, for the last few years, due to his power and influence as perhaps the most key player of the Republican Party, he has managed to stay beneath the radar in order to get less noticed regarding his devious goals for himself and the party. Taking his place, strategically, in the spotlight, has been Fox News’ Sean Hannity. It’s been rumored that Hannity talks to President Trump before bedtime each evening. He may even sing him a lullaby. Who knows? Hannity is considered a clown by many media critics for very good reasons. You can easily guess that Hannity gets his instructions first, prior to dialing up the President.
I really don’t enjoy being the person who listens to right-wing radio so that you don’t have to. But since I am, I should at least inform you about what historically took place prior to the election, and even still to this day: Trump’s campaign to be President was taken right out of Limbaugh’s playbook. The playbook isn’t original. Limbaugh didn’t invent it. As a matter of fact, Roger Ailes- the creator and brains behind Fox News and once a producer for Limbaugh- may be as much responsible for the playbook as Limbaugh, maybe even more. The main tenet is always to destroy the credibility of all media and books that challenge your lies and your goals. Probably second to that is accuse “the other side” of doing exactly the dishonest thing that you’re intentionally doing. (This isn’t “projection.” “Projection” is a psychological term. This is lying.) Plus, there are several more sleazy tricks that have been around since the cavemen.
Limbaugh has been, and still is, incredibly successful spewing his hate. It has earned him enormous riches and the admiration of millions of angry souls wanting nothing more than to blame their unhappy plight on others. Here’s something you might not know about Limbaugh: This king of the Republicans, the king of talk radio, the king of hate, who claims to be smarter than everyone and professes to be always right with whatever comes out of his mouth… will not debate anyone. He has avoided debating anyone of significance or prestige for almost three decades. His excuse for this is remarkably weak. He claims there is no point to debating anyone… because he’s always right. That’s right. He’s never wrong! And his audience just accepts this. Yes, they so easily accept it. And he has gotten away with this for almost thirty years. It must be noted that once in a while, very rarely, a caller gets through who disagrees with him. Very likely, the caller tricked the call-screener and made it through. However, Limbaugh controls the microphone and just shouts the person down. And sometimes a caller disagreeing with him seems staged. But it’s never a person of consequence.
You would think that a political talk show host who did all he could to avoid debating a serious opponent would be summarily rejected and dismissed by his audience. You would think that everyone would rightfully so consider him a coward- one who knows that he’s full of lies and propaganda. You would also think that his audience would have to be so stupid and ignorant and open to hate… oh, wait a second…
But here is the shocker (to some, at least):
Rush Limbaugh is President! Seriously, he’s the President!
Towards the end of 2018, journalists finally figured out that Limbaugh was actually the President of the United States. They even sarcastically began calling him, “President Limbaugh.” It was all because the government was on the verge of a shutdown until Donald Trump reached an agreement with the Democrats over immigration and his pet project, the border wall. This deal would keep the government open. But then, unexpectedly, Limbaugh and fellow bullshit artist, Ann Coulter, pressured him to renege on the agreement, causing the government to shut down, putting 800,000 government employees out of work. This was all due to Limbaugh. (Coulter was of very little significance.) It had taken almost two years for people in the media to figure out that Limbaugh was President. Yet, some knew- those who paid attention and occasionally listened to Limbaugh- the very second that Trump was elected, Limbaugh was the President.*
*This isn’t entirely true. At least, not really. Trump is the President… at least sometimes… or often. Who knows? And it’s not just Limbaugh. A few others are, or were, the President- at the beginning. Especially at the beginning, Trump had to pay back everyone who got him elected.
Final thing you have to know about Limbaugh- and it’s not just him. This one could be more Ailes. Let’s just say, “Both.” Many people think that Ailes and Limbaugh figured out that the only way to win was to misinform the public. Get them to believe what you want and need them to believe- in order to win. This is only partially true. More important than misinforming the public- and this is where Limbaugh is so connected to Ailes- the only way to win is to get one side (their side) to hate the other side so much that they can even put a Donald Trump in office. Trump could not have won before this. This could not have happened even a decade ago. There wasn’t enough hate. Now there is!
